If you can tear yourself away from the quiet beauty of Praa Sands, head 12 miles north to St. Ives – one of Cornwall’s most popular towns. Here you’ll discover an array of independent shops, cafes and galleries, plus – you guessed it – more incredible beaches. For a dash of culture while you’re in town, visit the Minack Theatre or the Barbara Hepworth Museum – ideal trips in cooler, wetter months. Further afield, visit the famous Eden Project (46 miles), or closer to home head to St Michael’s Mount (5 miles), where you’ll find castles and legend and breathtaking gardens.
