Famous for its rock pooling, this lovely beach is very popular with fossil hunters and families seeking a quiet day at the shore. The coastal path is just 400 metres from your door and features spectacular scenery in every direction, while discerning shoppers may like to pop by Cowbridge (9 miles) for its independent shops and array of eateries.
