You'll enjoy a more peaceful afternoon at RHS Garden Rosemoor (11.5 miles); don't forget to check out the Very Hungry Caterpillar trail. But if it's more beaches you're after, Saunton Sands (19 miles) and Woolacombe (24.5 miles) are both terrific options.
