The coastal village of Seahouses has a variety of great pubs, shops and restaurants. From the historic harbour you can take a boat trip out to see the wildlife of the Farne Islands. Staying on the mainland, you can take the coastal path to Bamburgh (3.5 miles north) or Beadnell (2 miles south). Other local attractions include Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (11.5 miles), Dunstanburgh Castle (10.5 miles) and The Alnwick Garden (15.5 miles).
