Family-friendly beaches at Colwyn Bay and neighbouring Rhos-on-Sea offer sheltered swimming and water sports. Nearby Eirias Park has beautiful gardens, a boating lake and miniature railway, plus a fine leisure centre. Enjoy the beautiful North Wales coast on a walk around Great Orme Head (8.5 miles) or take the cable car to the famous landmark for spectacular sea views. Visit the World Heritage site of Conwy, a walled market town with a breathtaking castle, and catch a mountain panorama as you stroll through the National Trust's glorious Bodnant Gardens (9 miles).
