Backed by magnificent hills that are ripe for walking or mountain biking adventures, Penmaenmawr (1 mile) is a delightful seaside village with worlds of adventure to explore. The area boasts a spectacular wide sandy beach with a promenade and traditional beach huts, the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon or two. The beach is part of the Wales Coast Path which plots a splendid route along some of the country's stunning seaside scenery and is also located along the cyclist's North Wales Coastal Route which snakes from Holyhead (35 miles) right through to the city of Chester (48 miles).
