Cowes is a favourite among the sailing fraternity - expect to see some on-the-water action as you explore the seafront and riverside. Learn more about the sport with a visit to the Classic Boat Museum, which occupies sites in both East and West Cowes - the latter is just moments from your doorstep. Stroll 0.5 miles into town for a choice of fashionable shops and pet-friendly pubs. Queen Victoria relished her holidays on the Isle of Wight - visit her summer residence, Osborne House (2 miles), or follow the Victoria's Island Trail which takes in some of the royal's most-loved landmarks, including Ventnor Botanic Garden (15 miles). Nearby Blackgang Chine is the UK's oldest family theme park.
