Located at the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay and backed by the Anglesey Coast Path, Llandonna Beach is ideal for bathing and beachcombing. Drive 5 miles cross-country to Beaumaris, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, an iconic castle and a range of independent shops and eateries. Llangefni (11 miles) is Anglesey's county town and cultural centre; shop at the twice-weekly market, visit the Oriel Mon museum and art gallery, or enjoy a walk at Dingle Nature Reserve, a 25-acre wooded valley rich in wildlife and history.
