This lovely four-storey home is in a sought-after location directly on the Medina River, within the peaceful Isle of Wight's Island Harbour. You'll have water and greenery flanking two sides of the building, making for wonderful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Watch the colourful boats enter the quaint marina or plan pretty walks where you can view local wildlife including birds (bring your binoculars!). The home sleeps eight guests over four bedrooms, so is excellent for an extended family trip or holiday among friends and their children.

Inside, the decor is sleek and stylish, with plenty of wood and artwork honouring the area. So you can make the most of those views, many of the rooms have huge windows, including the delightful open-plan kitchen-diner. This large space has elegant wooden units and a central breakfast bar, along with a quality dining table and dual-aspect patio doors allowing plenty of light in. Sip your morning coffee or tuck into lunches on the kitchen's balconies, overlooking stunning views of Medina and the countryside. There are so many gorgeous parts of this house, such as a twin bedroom with harbour views, a lounge with plush sofas and a Juliet balcony in the king-size bedroom. At the front of the house, a table and chairs are set up for yet more fresh-air enjoyment.

Your nearest pub and shop are around 3 miles away - this is a lovely rural pocket of the island where peace and quiet are guaranteed. When it's time to explore your surroundings, you'll find plenty to do on the Isle of Wight, whether that's boarding a steam train for a nostalgic ride (2.5 miles) or admiring the impressive Quarr Abbey (4 miles). The former royal residence at Osborne House (3.5 miles) makes a wonderful day out or take children for a colourful viewing experience at Butterfly World (2.5 miles).
