The beautiful Isle of Portland is a tied island which is linked to the Dorset coast and has a range of great things to do including sailing, windsurfing, rock climbing and diving. The cottage lies in the southern portion of the island which has a wide variety of landmarks and attractions for you to explore including the Castletown D-Day Centre and World War II Museum, Fancy’s Farm, the Everlasting Stone Circle, and Tout Quarry Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve, all within 3.5 miles. The famous Portland Bill Lighthouse is to the south (1.5 miles). Returning to the mainland, you can spend a day in the vibrant seaside town of Weymouth (8 miles).
