The accommodation is spread across two detached properties in the same location. The properties enjoy an exceptional setting – quiet and completely secluded, with magnificent southerly panoramic views of the West Cork coastline to Galley Head. They are situated at the end of the road on a small peninsula between the villages of Rosscarbery (4 km) and Glandore (7 km) where the nearest shops and a choice of restaurants can be found. 200 metres away is the sea and the craggy coastline, and the nearby cove is a 2.5-km walk away, approximately. The properties are well located for exploring the varied and beautiful countryside of West Cork, with its intriguing coastline, many peaceful tidal inlets and fine sandy beaches. Dolphin and whale watching trips are available locally. The lively market town of Skibbereen (12 km) is worth a visit. Sea angling, boat and deep-sea fishing trips, 9 and 18-hole golf courses, pitch and putt, cycling routes and horse riding are all available in the area. Baltimore has sailing schools and ferries to the islands. The properties benefit from a garden with an unenclosed lawned section, and each has a patio with garden furniture.
