An inviting, white-washed retreat, set on the fringes of the village of Saltmills on the Hook Peninsula, this comfortable bolthole captures magnificent views across a tidal estuary. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom cottage features a generous garden for outside relaxation and a wood burner for the colder months. Saltmills, which has a pub, is 14.5 miles from the ancient city of Waterford, crossing the River Barrow by ferry. Here, you will discover a myriad of colourful shops, eateries, museums and historic buildings. Head out on foot from the cottage and walk less than 1 mile to the impressive Cistercian monastery of Tintern Abbey. Here, you can also see the exquisite Colclough Walled Garden. Venture 4.5 miles to beautiful Baginbun Beach.

Step inside to find accommodation that has been upgraded and now includes everything you need to ensure comfort and convenience throughout your stay. The lounge, with its wood burner, is ideal for cosy evenings, discuss your adventures or watch a film together on TV.
