A lovingly renovated home situated within a camping and caravan site on the banks of Bannow Bay. This charming cottage with original beamed ceilings and lovely waterside views, sleeps a family of four, or two couples. Enjoy this delightful retreat as you explore the coast of South Ireland and its luscious hinterland.
Enter via the spacious driveway, where you can park your car and head inside to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To one end is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals for all occasions, and a dining table that seats all guests. The stable door allows you to open up the space to let the sea breeze roll in. In the evening, take a seat in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire and get cosy on the sofas as you watch a movie on the TV. Get some restful sleep in the inviting bedrooms. The twin bedroom is situated on the ground floor, alongside a handy shower room, while upstairs is a double bedroom and a bathroom. Take your morning coffee or evening tipple outside to enjoy on the picnic bench. Guests are also welcome to join in with the on-site amenities including pony trekking, live entertainment, and food vans.
Head along the short footpath through the campsite that leads to a small shingle cove that looks over the sand and mudflats. See what wildlife you can spot, as the area is a special protection area for wetlands and waterbirds.
