The region is overflowing with natural and historic sites, including Broadhaven Bay (2.5 miles), the Neolithic site of Ceide Fields (18.5 miles) and the sea stacks of Downpatrick Head (27.5 miles). For games of frisbee and sandcastle-building, Claggan Island is a must-see. Its tranquillity is magical, with incredible coastal scenery highlighting some of Ireland’s finest coastline. It’s also the getaway to joining the Wild Atlantic Way, a 1600-mile-long defining route spanning famous landmarks and spectacular hidden gems.
