The bohemian and artistic town of Dingle is worth a visit (6.5 miles). Famed for its family-friendly pubs and seafood straight from sea to plate, Dingle is an excellent spot for foodies to thrive. Avid hikers will be well-pressed to find a more challenging route than Mount Brandon (6 miles), while historians may be keen to explore the 15th-century stronghold of Rahinnane Castle and the Riasc Monastic Settlement, both with 6.5 miles.
