This charming enclave consists of eight converted stone cottages, thoughtfully arranged around a landscaped courtyard. Each cottage boasts its own private enclosed garden, providing a perfect retreat. Additionally, guests have the delightful bonus of a shared recreational paddock where they can exercise their dogs while savouring panoramic sea vistas and the breath-taking beauty of sunsets.

Situated on one side of a peaceful country lane, these holiday cottages serve as an excellent launching point for exploring the county, whether by foot or by car. The surrounding area offers an abundance of scenic walks, including the enchanting coastal footpath and the picturesque Rocky Valley. Tintagel, a mere 5-minute drive away or a leisurely stroll, features an array of shops, pubs, and restaurants, along with the renowned medieval castle and Merlin’s sea cave. The appealing National Trust harbour at Boscastle is just 2.5 miles away, and a leisure centre equipped with a swimming pool awaits in Camelford, a convenient 4.5 miles distant. Bossiney Cove, a steady 20-minute walk from the cottages, unveils a sandy beach at low tide, while the surfing haven of Trebarwith Strand is just a quick 10-minute drive away.

Each of the eight cottages possesses its own unique character, yet they share many similar features, making them a preferred choice for families and friends seeking independent accommodations while vacationing together. Furthermore, ample parking space is available, with room for one car per property.

Accommodation

Nestled in a sunlit corner of the courtyard, Plover Cottage enjoys a picturesque view of the gardens through an unusually large window, making it a beloved choice throughout the year. Positioned between The Dove Cot and Robins Nest, a single step guides you up to the half-glazed front door, which opens to a central hallway.

On one side of this hallway, you’ll find a tastefully furnished pine double bedroom, alongside a bathroom featuring a WC, hand basin, a shower over the bath, and a heated towel rail. On the opposite side of the hall, a bright and airy living room awaits, complete with a television. The room is furnished with a comfortable sofa facing an electric fireplace, a dining suite, and an L-shaped galley kitchen tucked into one corner. The kitchen is well-appointed with essential appliances, including a fridge, electric hob and oven, and a microwave. To keep you comfortable, this property is heated using a combination of electric heating and night storage units. Shared amenities include a laundry room complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience.
