Mill Cottage

Mill Cottage is part of Felin Carrog, a beautiful 19th-century former corn mill. This characterful, cosy cottage is in a lovely rural setting surrounded by peaceful countryside. Ideally located to explore the many attractions in Ceredigion, it's just 7 miles from the University town of Aberystwyth, a Victorian seaside resort with a promenade and pier, and 8 miles from the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourful Georgian houses.

Aberystwyth has many amenities, from a wonderful Arts Centre to the National Library. It has everything you would expect from a traditional seaside town – amusements, entertainment, candy floss and fish and chips. There are many bars, cafes and restaurants as well as independent and high st shops. you can leisurely walk around town or take the train up Constitution Hill and admire the spectacular view. 

Once a busy fishing port, Aberaeron is now one of Ceredigion's best-loved holiday resorts with fabulous cafes and restaurants and a picturesque harbour. You can follow the coast south to the sandy beaches at New Quay and enjoy boat trips and dolphin watching.

For walkers, the Ceredigion Coast Path is a joy, following the spectacular Cardigan Bay coastline with its stunning scenery between picture-perfect villages. The nearest village of Llanrhystud offers a post office and shop, two dog-friendly pubs/restaurants, a pub, a church and a petrol station with a small supermarket.

Bedroom 1: double bed, TV with Freesat, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and garden views
Bedroom 2: double bed, bedside tables, hanging rail, tallboy and garden views
Bedroom 3: single bed, hanging rail, tallboy, view over a country lane
Bathroom: bath with shower over, toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail

DOWNSTAIRS
Sitting/dining area: corner sofa, 43″ Freesat Smart TV, log burner, books, games, table and chairs to seat 5, garden view and door to garden
Kitchen: induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, utility at the rear of the kitchen with toilet

OUTSIDE
Enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ, rotary clothesline. Guests have use of the enclosed orchard area to exercise dogs. Driveway parking for 2 cars.
