Beautifully presented, guests will step into the lounge with comfortable seating for sinking into after  busy day exploring the glorious South Hams, while the log burner crackles away. The contemporary kitchen diner is light and bright, offering a lovely space to enjoy preparing and eating your holiday favourites, or perhaps enjoy fish and chips in the sunny garden, or just a morning coffee listening to the tranquil sounds of birds and village life. Upstairs the bedrooms are thoughtfully presented for a relaxing nights sleep, with the main bedroom enjoying views from the window over the village to the rolling countryside.

1 Sands Road is a little gem for your South Devon holiday being just a short walk to the village shop, and two great pubs, along with a picturesque nature reserve and the three mile stretch of beach between Torcross and Strete Gate, Slapton Sands, right on the South West Coast Path. The Millennium field at the top of the village is a fantastic viewpoint for gazing out over the village to Start Bay and the lighthouse at Start Point. Slapton is just a 20 minute' drive from the bustling market town of Kingsbridge and the historic town of Dartmouth. The bohemian hub of Totnes is a 30 minute drive, with Dartmoor a little further on. This popular village is superb for exploring all the delights the South Hams has to offer, and this pretty cottage is a superb base for a couple, independent traveller or small family.
