Get the whole gang together at the dining table to eat, or head outside to the shared courtyard to enjoy al fresco dining. After dinner, head back to the lounge and lose yourself in a good book in front of the crackling wood burner. There are three lovely bedrooms to choose from - one elegant king-size with a four-poster bed on the ground floor; and in the eaves on the second floor, you’ll find one double with stunning sea views and one twin with Velux-style windows. Completing the layout there are two stylish bathrooms - one with a bath and shower attachment, and one shower room.

Explore the grand state rooms of the Percy Family at Alnwick Castle (5.5 miles) and wander through the ground's Rose Garden and quirky Poison Garden. Alternatively, set sail from Amble Harbour (7 miles) to witness the incredible marine life around Coquet Island - home to thousands of adorable puffins, charming seals and rare seabirds.
