Take your family away for a memorable holiday at this spacious cottage in the heart of Braunton village just 2.5 miles from the North Devon coast. There's lots of space to relax, a cosy wood burner, and an enclosed courtyard with a BBQ, and it's perfectly placed for visiting nearby beaches and villages, going on coastal walks, and surfing.

The beautiful cottage is light and airy, with stylish interiors creating the ideal home from home to switch off and relax. Kick back on the comfy sofas in the lounge with the wood burner roaring and your current binge-watch on the Smart TV. There's a contemporary kitchen for preparing delicious meals and a kitchen table for breakfast and teatime. For more formal meals, eat together in the pretty dining room, where you can open the bi-fold doors to the courtyard on warm evenings; there's also a cloakroom with a WC and washing machine on the ground floor. The three gorgeous bedrooms are on the first floor, a king, a double and a bunkroom, along with the large family bathroom, with a walk-in shower and a free-standing bath for quick dips and long soaks. Enjoy drinks al fresco in the private courtyard and get the BBQ going on warm evenings.

Spend the day at Saunton Sands (2.5 miles) dozing, reading a good book, surfing, or paddleboarding. Play a round on one of Saunton Golf Club's two links courses (2 miles), go cycling along the Tarka Trail (400 metres away), which goes through pretty countryside and along the coast. Walk along the South West Coast Path, visit the gorgeous sandy beaches at Croyde (4.5 miles), pretty Georgeham (3 miles) with chocolate-box cottages, Woolacombe's 3 miles of golden sand (6.5 miles) and the ancient town of Barnstaple (5.5 miles).
