The crescent-shaped bay of Coverack is popular for windsurf and kayak hire, and you could try your luck on a mackerel-fishing trip from the harbour. Further afield, drive 7 miles to Helford for beautiful waterside pubs either side of the pretty Helford river linked by a ferry ride. The Seal Sanctuary is 9 miles away at Gweek - after you’ve met these charming creatures, why not lunch at the village pub beside the traditional boatyard? Lizard Point itself is 10 miles away, with an incredible view and famous lighthouse.
