Famed for its natural light, the popular seaside town of St Ives is 9 miles away. Wander its pretty streets lined with gift shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and sample some of the fresh seafood that's still landed daily in the region. St Ives Tate is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and showcases works from both local and international artists with many special exhibitions throughout the year. Paradise Park (2 miles) is a wildlife sanctuary with tropical birds in exotic gardens, rare red pandas, and a huge jungle barn indoor play area that children are sure to adore.
