A gorgeous Victorian mid-terrace cottage in central Amble, within 500 metres of its bustling harbour. This dog-friendly cottage features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a sunroom and an enclosed patio garden. It is well-suited to active families and small groups keen to explore the Northumberland Coast AONB.

The cottage sits off a road running into the centre of Amble and blends period features with an impressive range of thoughtfully-positioned soft furnishings that add light and colour to its spacious rooms. Enter via the sunroom, an attractive place to grab some peace and quiet while others are occupied both inside and outside. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a real treat, a wonderful gathering point for good food and good conversation throughout the day. A shower room is nearby, and a family bathroom and three spacious bedrooms – two twin bedrooms and a king-size bedroom with views towards Warkworth Castle – are located on the first floor. The enclosed patio garden to the rear of the cottage is all set up for morning coffees and alfresco meals throughout the day.

Amble is home to a vibrant seafood scene, with various pubs, restaurants and cafes offering the catch of the day. Hauxley Nature Reserve (2 miles) is great for bird watching, while Walkworth's beach and castle ruins (2.5 miles) are fascinating places to explore. The 3-mile stretch of sandy beach at Druridge Bay Country Park is only 7 miles from the cottage, its captivating views of the Northumberland Coast AONB a must-see on clear days.
