Head into the bright and breezy open-plan lounge/diner and relax on two generous sofas in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire. Glass sliding doors open onto the split-level patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening sun-downer on the garden furniture. There’s a handy shed for storing bikes and surf gear too. Cook a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen and plan the next day’s activity over dinner at the comfortable dining area before heading to bed in one of two attractive bedrooms where a good night’s sleep will be had by all in this quiet location.

Conveniently located on the edge of Seahouses, you can play golf, browse shops and explore pubs and restaurants, all within a few hundred metres of your door. Take a coastal stroll to beautiful Beadnell Bay (3 miles) or visit Low Newton (7 miles) and Embleton (7 miles) for exquisite sandy beaches, making sure to pop into the local pub along the way. To the south, you'll find Bamburgh's huge beach (3.5 miles) and its iconic castle. Book a boat trip to see the wildlife on the Farne Islands or drive over the causeway to Holy Island for Lindisfarne Castle (19 miles). Alternatively, spend a memorable day at Alnwick Gardens (15 miles), home to the world’s largest Tai Haku cherry orchard and the world's largest treehouse restaurant.
