It’s a homely cottage that welcomes canines, so you could spend your days walking the dogs through National Trust-owned land and following the coast and creek walk, before returning to snuggle up in front of a good film or getting out a board game to play together.

The sandy shores of Lantic Bay are less than 2 miles away and Fowey is a ferry-ride across the estuary. While in Fowey you can visit St Catherine’s Castle, walk along the Readymoney beach or see colourful fish swimming around the aquarium. Visit the Eden Project (16 miles) and walk through the tropical domes to see odd and unusual varieties of plants from across the globe or drive 19 miles for a magical stroll around The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
