As well as walkers eager to wander along the coast, this beach attracts surfers, swimmers and sailors up for any and all water sports opportunities. Visit the local surf school to rent equipment or sign up for some help out on the waves. For further water-focused activities, visit the nearby town of Ballyshannon (6.5 miles) with Assaroe Lake on its outskirts. Enjoy some trout fishing or a simple walk around the water in this pretty spot.
