In fact, from Seahouses Harbour, you can board several boat trips and sea safaris that show off the splendour of the area, including a trip around the fabulous Fane Islands. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, the coastal pathway leads north and south to a selection of beautiful spots, and you can gaze out into the water to spot dolphins, puffins and porpoises as you go. Make your way along to Bamburgh (3.5 miles) and visit the impressive Bamburgh Castle.
