If you've got children in your party, a trip to Blackgang Chine theme park (10.5 miles) will likely be popular. The seaside resorts of Ryde (5 miles) and Sandown (7.5 miles) are great options for coastal days out. At Hamstead Heritage Coast, 6.5 miles to the northwest, you can discover an impressive landscape of low clay cliffs, salt marshes and mud flats.
