Northam Burrows Country Park is behind the beach, over 250 hectares of grassy coastal plains to explore, there are also tennis courts, a golf course, shops, pubs, and restaurants in Westward Ho!. Visit the lovely fishing village of Appledore (2.5 miles) to watch the fishing boats come in to the quay with the catch of the day.
