This sweet little cottage, just 2 miles from the upmarket seaside resort of Rock, is the perfect place for a holiday by the sea. Enjoying an enviable location on a 100-acre cattle farm, the sense of peace will engulf you the moment you arrive. Sit out in the shared gardens with a glass of wine in hand, the sounds of the sea in the distance melting all your worries away.

Original slate floors and exposed beams offer clues to the history of the cottage. Warm and bright colours feature throughout and the country-style kitchen is the perfect place to have a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day. The welcoming bedrooms are just the place for a tranquil night’s sleep when you come home. Wake up fully refreshed the next morning, ready to discover more of this beautiful part of North Cornwall.

Walk or drive the 2 miles into Rock to peruse the pretty shops and galleries. Then catch a ferry across to the working harbour of Padstow where you can sample the amazing seafood on offer in one of the excellent restaurants. Walk the footpath down to the sandy beaches of Polzeath (2 miles away) where you can spend days building sandcastles and paddling in the sparkling waters. Many other adventures await in the pretty village of St Isaac situated 7 miles away and the mysterious Tintagel Castle, 13 miles to the north of the farm.
